Clint Garman has proven that PUBLIC SAFETY COMES FIRST. He has the track record! When he was on the Santa Paula City Council, he voted to reboot public safety. In his position at County Supervisor Matt LaVere’s office, Clint has a close relationship with the County Government, including the Sheriff’s Department. Clint will bring that experience with him to Ventura.

Even after leaving the Santa Paula City Council in 2020, Clint Garman remained involved, advocating the dissolution of the Santa Paula Police Department. He was succesful!
Even after resigning from the Santa Paula City Council, Clint continued to lobby for county annexation. The Ventura County Sheriffs came in and annexed the city’s law enforcement. The Sheriff now provides the level of service enjoyed by communities like Ojai. It’s a huge benefit to the Ventura County Sheriff’s office.
For the first time, the VCDSA is spending tens of thousands of dollars to support a candaite in Ventura City Council race: Clint Garman. They know Clint has their back, and they have his!

Ventura Police Officers also know they can trust Clint! If Clint Garman is elected to Ventura City Council, it wouldn’t be easy to dissolve the police department and replace it with a county contract. But Clint can get it done.
